This is my rescue table! I salvaged this lovely little piece of cherry wood from being thrown away by a timber yard. They then of course charged me for it!


The shape and sweep of the wood reminded me of a beach coral reef scene so I used resin to create the sea with waves gently lapping on the burr beach.

I think the grain gives it a beautiful natural sweep like a beach as well.

This was a real labour of love and it’s probably the highest level of craft I’ve managed on a table to date, I’m chuffed with how it has turned out!

It has a mat gloss finish and the legs are a steel tripod hairpin arrangement with gloss black finish.
