Waney Edge / Live Edge Character Walnut Coffee Table
Walnut waney edge/live edge Coffee table.
Chunky, one whole piece of walnut. It doesn’t get more natural than this! The bark on this piece of walnut was so strong and had lovely detail so i decided to give it a light smoothing and then leave it as it is!
Finished with a mat organic oil to keep it as natural as possible whilst protecting it and bringing out the natural beauty in the grain.
It has loads of character with some beautiful variances in the colour of the grain, the waterfall effect’ of the grain pouring over the waney edges and some great knots and cracks.
Raw steel, box legs give an industrial contrast to natural wood. I can replace the legs if these don’t suit.
