Oak River\Lagoon Resin Dining Table - 6-8 Seater
I think this is the best table I’ve ever made.
Please scroll down to the bottom of the page if you would like to see a video of the dining table.
I have three other pieces of the same size oak from the same tree (one is already on the site) so if this one isn’t quite working for you please get in touch and I can create the same dining table but with your bespoke features.
The waney edges on this piece are amazing. The natural sweep and the bucketloads of character, colours and grain detail in these ages are the best I have seen on any piece of oak to date. The pictures don’t do it justice.
But this oak has character everywhere. Knots, some light pipping, detailed grain and beautiful medullary rays, it really has it all.
I’ve taken out all the soft wood and filled the gap with a delicate blue colour resin at one end, as well as filling the cracks with the same resin. You can see all of the beautiful character of the wood beneath the resin and I personally think it looks like a lagoon, but sure, you can call it a river table too!
As you can see in the pictures it has a natural bow to it which makes it look truly unique.
Finished with semi-gloss to bring out the natural beauty but also just enough shine to make it stand out even more. The finish is incredibly hard-wearing to make sure the beauty doesn’t get tarnished.
This elegant, steel, butterfly base with a black powder coating, gives it a really contemporary look. If you would like to explore different bases or legs just drop me a note!
Length - 185cm
Width - 105cm at widest point - 94cm at narrowest point
Depth - 6cm
Height - 78cm
Free delivery within the M25, or courier will be additional cost, I will provide an estimate, please get in touch.
