Large Round Oak Coffee Table - Waney edge/ Live edge
I’ve been wanting to work on one of these for ages but they are so rare. This is a really unique coffee table.

This is a BIG round oak coffee table and I think it looks absolutely stunning.
It has some lovely colouring to it, dark in the middle with some lovely oaky browns, getting lighter as it goes towards the edges so parts are almost white.
It has some awesome chunky waney edges and some of the medullary rays at the top of the live edges are so delicate and beautiful.
I filled around the large knot with some clear resin just to keep it in place.
This sort of table always looks best a little lower down, so I have paired it with some short, raw steel hairpin legs, but if you need it a little higher I can switch in a taller set of legs for the same price. Or if you would rather have completely different legs or a base please let me know!
I’ve kept this piece as natural as possible, hence the raw steel legs and i finished it with a matt organic oil, showing off it’s natural beauty but hard-wearing enough for daily use.
Diameter ranges from - 88cm at widest point and 55cm at narrowest point and is just under a metre in length.
Thickness - 7-8cm
Height - 32cm
Free local delivery or I will pack with bubble wrap and cardboard and send via courier.
