This has gone straight into my top 3 favourites of tables I have ever made.
This beautiful piece of Scottish Elm has so much detail and character I LOVE it!
Chunky, waney edges that have some gorgeous lines, the grain is so defined and has subtle colour changes throughout. I've used black resin to fill some of the knots and cracks which i think really adds to the overall look of the piece.
I've gone for a matt black, steel spider base which I think it works brilliantly to finish it off, matching the black resin and the rounder shape of this piece compared to some of my others.
It's finished with an organic matt oil to give it a contemporary look.
Diameter ranges from - 78cm at widest point and 53cm at narrowest point
Thickness - 4.5cm
Height - 44.5cm
